Location.  The historic Executive Hotel in central Florence, Italy, is located in a quiet area of the city, close to the banks of the River Arno. The hotel is within 500 metres of Via Tornabuoni's designer boutiques, the Prato business area and Santa Maria Novella railway station. Florence Airport is three kilometres away.
Hotel Features.  The former residence of an arch-duke, the building dates back to the 1700s but the hotel was refurbished in 2004.

The Executive Hotel has a restaurant on site, which serves international cuisine. Complimentary breakfast buffet is served daily. There is also a bar/lounge at the hotel.

The Executive Hotel provides small meeting rooms, translation services and wireless Internet access.

Driving Directions - Executive Hotel

From Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR):
Distance to the Executive Hotel is three kilometres, approximately 10 minutes' drive.

Getting there.  Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 15 EUR-16 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs every 30 minutes for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station (500 metres from the hotel). Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Terravision coaches travel to central Florence and Pisa Airport. Tickets cost 12 EUR, and the price includes a one-day pass for Florence's city buses. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around.  The hotel is on Via Curtatone, 500 metres from Santa Maria Novella Station. Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. There are traffic restrictions in the city centre, and parking is expensive. Bright orange buses operate throughout the city centre. Tickets are available at vending machines or from tobacconists. Tickets are sold based on length of time, and are available for one, two or 24 hours. There is a taxi rank in front of Santa Maria Novella Station.

Driving directions.  From Florence Vespucci Airport:
From the airport, take the A1 motorway.
Take the exit signposted for Firenze-Signa and follow signs for Firenze.
Cross over the Ponte della Vittoria bridge.
Turn right onto Lugarno Vespucci.
At the first set of traffic lights, turn left.
Take a left turn onto Via Borgognissanti.
The Executive Hotel is at the end on Via Curtatone.
