Location. Constructed in 1905, the Hungaria Palace Hotel stands within a private park in the center of the Lido in Venice, Italy. The hotel is positioned one kilometre from St. Mark's Square, and the famed Murano glass makers' shops are located six kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The magnificent building that houses the hotel features a curved Art Nouveau façade. Honored Italian designer Eugenio Quarti crafted the hotel's Art Nouveau furniture. The Quarti Restaurant prepares Italian cuisine, while the Hungaria Bar features 20th-century frescoes, and serves cocktails and light fare. Buffet breakfasts are served on the Winter Garden's bright veranda. Two multi-purpose function rooms accommodate up to 120 people. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel, and business amenities include fax and photocopy services. The front desk is attended 24 hours a day, and reception staff offers concierge services and currency exchange. This hotel reserves private sections of the beach, and an on-site playground provides recreation for children.
