Location. The modern HEM Hotel Amsterdam is in the southwest suburbs, four kilometres from the centre of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Vondelpark, Amsterdam's largest park, is two kilometres away, as is the World Fashion Centre. The Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum are four kilometres from the hotel. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) is 10 kilometres away.

Modern art and simple wooden furniture grace HEM Restaurant which offers buffet breakfasts and a la carte lunches and dinners. There is alfresco dining in the warmer months. Distance to HEM Hotel Amsterdam is 10 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis from the airport cost around EUR 20 to the hotel. The Connexxion Schiphol Hotel Shuttle bus also runs to the hotel. Tickets can be bought on the bus and in the hotel lobby (EUR 12 one way). From Centraal Station, tram number 2 stops at Westlandgracht from where it is a short walk down Poeldijkstraat and into the Voorburgstraat; the hotel is on the right. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Amsterdam can easily be explored by foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram and metro services running through the city and outside areas. Cycling is also a popular way to see Amsterdam. There are taxi ranks at the central station. Driving within the canal ring is discouraged. There is parking at the hotel for 50 vehicles (surcharge).
Driving directions. From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport:
Take the A10 and exit at Sloten/Schinkel (S-107).
Follow the HEM Group logo signs.
Turn left at the end of the exit.
Turn left at Aalsmeerplein into Vlaardingenlaan.
Take the first street on the right, Naaldwijkstraat.
The HEM Hotel Amsterdam is located at the end of the street.
