Getting there.  The best way to get to and from the airport is by taxi, and taxis are available outside the arrivals hall. Check the destinations and fares sheet posted on the wall to make sure you're not overcharged; fares to the hotel should cost around 100 EUR. Buses run hourly to Gerona city centre, and from here buses and trains connect to Lloret de Mar. Lloret de Mar can be explored on foot or by bus. A hire car is recommended for reaching the surrounding countryside.
