Location.  The Don Carlos Leisure Resort and Spa hotel is located near Marbella, Spain, and has its own beach club. The hotel is by the Mediterranean Sea on the Costa del Sol's 'Golf Mile', seven kilometres from Marbella, and 14 kilometres from Puerto Banus harbour.
Hotel Features.  Surrounded by subtropical gardens leading to Nikki Beach's golden sands, the Don Carlos Leisure Resort and Spa hotel occupies a high-rise tower with far-reaching hill views.

Five onsite restaurants and bars with sea, garden or pool views include Los Naranjos, serving European dishes with a twist. Breakfast buffets are provided in the marble- floored Bahia restaurant. Light meals are on the menu at the Gaudi-inspired poolside Sol y Sombra restaurant.

The resort's conference centre offers more than 2,000 square metres of meeting space with wireless Internet access.

The gardens, with subtropical plants, bridges and waterfalls, lead to the Don Carlos Beach Club (open Easter to October), and Marco Tennis Academy.     Driving Directions - Don Carlos Leisure Resort And Spa

    From Malaga Airport (AGP):
    Distance to Don Carlos Beach and Golf Resort is 37 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

    Getting there.  The Marbella bus runs from the airport to Marbella's city bus station every 45 minutes. Single tickets cost around 4 EUR. Marbella is 10 kilometres from the hotel. Taxis run from Marbella to the hotel. The number 19 bus runs every 30 minutes to Malaga's city bus terminal. Trains run between the airport train station and central Malaga station every 30 minutes. Trains also run along the coast to the Torremolinos and Fuengirola resorts. Tickets are approximately 2 EUR. Tickets cost 1 EUR. There is a taxi rank outside the airport terminal. Fares are approximately 15 EUR to Malaga, 20 EUR to Torremolinos, 55 EUR to Marbella and 65 EUR to Puerto Banus. Prices are all subject to change.

    Getting around.  The Don Carlos Beach and Golf Resort is located seven kilometres from Marbella and 14 kilometres from Puerto Banus. The resorts of Marbella, Puerto Banus and Torremolinos are easy to explore on foot. There is limited transport between the resorts, which are quite far apart. Malaga's main attractions are situated within the city centre and can be easily reached on foot. A cheap and extensive bus service is in operation in the city. Driving is not recommended in the town centres, however, hiring a car is useful for exploring the coast and locations further inland.

    Driving directions.  From Malaga Airport (AGP):
    Take the Autovia de la Costa motorway towards Marbella and Fuengirola.
    Exit at Elviria and take the N340 towards Cadiz.
    Continue for about 37 kilometres until you reach the hotel.
