Location.  The Hotel El Forte is located in Marbella, Spain, 200 metres from the old town with its exquisite shops and famous restaurants, and 1.5 kilometres from the bus station. Puerto Banus is six kilometres away.

Driving Directions - El Fuerte Hotel

From Malaga Airport (AGP):
Distance to Hotel El Forte is 55 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Trains run between the airport train station and central Malaga station every 30 minutes. Tickets are approximately 2 EUR. The number 19 bus runs every 30 minutes to Malaga's city bus terminal. Tickets cost 1 EUR. The Marbella bus runs to Marbella's city bus station every 45 minutes. Single tickets cost around 4 EUR. There is a taxi rank outside the airport terminal. Fares are approximately 50 EUR to the hotel. The hotel offers airport transport at a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Marbella is compact and can easily be explored by foot or bicycle. The old town is narrow and cars are not permitted. For trips further afield, along the Costa del Sol or into the Andalusian hinterland, a car is recommended.

Driving directions.  From the airport, take N-348 road (Avenida Comandante García Morato avenue).
After one kilometre, turn right onto N-340a road direction Algeciras-Benalmádena.
After three kilometres, turn right onto A7 road, direction Algeciras-Benalmádena.
Exit at Junction 214 (between Benalmádena and Mijas).
Take a diversion to the right for the A7 Coast- Fuengirola- Marbella - Algec iras Road.
Exit for Marbella Centre.
After 230 metres take Avda. Severo Ochoa.
Head towards Avda. Nabeul.
After 100 metres, turn left towards the C/ Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente.
Turn into Avda. El Forte.
