Location.  The Andalucian-style Hotel Los Monteros is located near Marbella, Spain, on the Costa del Sol's 'Golf Mile'. The hotel has its own private beach club by the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel is five kilometres from Marbella, and 13 kilometres from Puerto Banus.
Hotel Features.  The lobby at the Hotel Los Monteros has marble floors, armchairs, and wood and glass panelling leading to an Andalucian patio. Air-conditioned public areas feature hand-painted tiling and prints of bullfights.

El Corso restaurant is decorated in reds and golds, with dark wood furnishings, outdoor seating and pool views. It has a menu of international and Spanish dishes. Breakfast buffets and a la carte lunches are served at Flamingo restaurant, with indoor and alfresco dining and pool views. The split-level Bar Azul offers views of the Andalucian patio and pool. Decorated with Moorish lamps and terracotta tiles, La Cabanne Beach Club restaurant has buffets featuring sumptuous seafood.

Driving Directions - Hotel Los Monteros

From Malaga Airport (AGP):
Distance to Hotel Los Monteros is 45 kilometres, approximately 35 minutes' drive.

Getting there.  The Marbella bus runs from the airport to Marbella's city bus station every 45 minutes. Single tickets cost around 4 EUR. Marbella is five kilometres from the hotel. Taxis run from Marbella to the hotel. The number 19 bus runs every 30 minutes to Malaga's city bus terminal. Trains run between the airport train station and central Malaga station every 30 minutes. Trains also run along the coast to the Torremolinos and Fuengirola resorts. Tickets are approximately 2 EUR. Tickets cost 1 EUR. There is a taxi rank outside the airport terminal. Fares are approximately 15 EUR to Malaga, 20 EUR to Torremolinos, 55 EUR to Marbella and 65 EUR to Puerto Banus. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around.  The Hotel Los Monteros is located five kilometres from Marbella and 13 kilometres from Puerto Banus. The resorts of Marbella, Puerto Banus and Torremolinos are easy to explore on foot. There is limited transport between the resorts, which are quite far apart. Malaga's main attractions are situated within the city centre and can be easily reached on foot. A cheap and extensive bus service is in operation in the city. Driving is not recommended in the town centres, however, hiring a car is useful for exploring the coast and locations further inland. Complimentary onsite parking is available at the hotel.
