From Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD):
Regional train and metro services run from Madrid Barajas Airport to Madrid city centre, from where a regional train service runs to Salamanca (change at Madrid-Chamartin station). Alternatively, frequent coach services run from Estación del Sur coach station at Méndez-Álvaro directly to Salamanca.

From the airport, take the M-11 motorway towards Madrid city centre (Paseo Castellana). At Exit 10A, change onto the M-30 and continue to Exit 25, and then change onto the M-40 in the direction of A Coruña. At Exit 46, change onto the AP-6, again in the direction of A Coruña, until Villacastín (Exit 86), from where the N-110 leads to Salamanca.
