Location.  The Elite Hotel is located in the centre of Istanbul, Turkey, 150 metres from Taksim Square. Dolmabahce Palace is one kilometre away and the Old City is four kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features.  A 15-storey building, the Elite Hotel offers facilities including a health club with indoor pool, complimentary wireless Internet, a patio, and a 10th-floor terrace bar with panoramic views of Istanbul.

A complimentary buffet breakfast is available each morning in the Begonia Breakfast Hall. The main restaurant serves Turkish specialities and international dishes from an a la carte menu. In summer, guests can dine on the 10th-storey terrace, and there is also a lobby bar for drinks and cocktails throughout the day.

The hotel has four conference rooms for groups from 12 to 200 people.

From Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IST)
Distance to Elite Hotel is 17 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Both airport terminals are connected to the metro system, which runs to the city centre. Single tickets cost about 1 TRY. The Havas Airport bus departs every 30 minutes for the main bus terminal and Taksim Square, 150 metres from the hotel. Journey time is about 30 minutes. Bus number 96 runs between the airport and the city centre, and a shuttle bus runs to the port. Taxis wait outside Arrivals; fixed prices are in place and the fare to the city centre should be about 20 TRY-30 TRY. At night, there is a 50 per cent surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Istanbul's extensive public transport system includes buses, metros (underground trains), trains, trams, sea buses, and ferries. Tickets can be purchased from main stops, stations, or kiosks prior to boarding. Istanbul's yellow taxis are reasonably priced, but travellers should ensure the meter is used. A cheaper alternative is to use a 'dolmus' (minibus or shared taxi). Driving is not advised for visitors.
