Driving Directions - Olimpiyat

From Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IST):
Distance to Hotel Olimpiyat is 18 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Both airport terminals are connected to the metro system, which runs to the city centre. Single tickets cost about 1 TRY. The Havas Airport bus departs every 30 minutes for the main bus terminal and Taksim Square, in central Istanbul. Journey time is about 30 minutes. Bus number 96 runs between the airport and the city centre, and a shuttle bus runs to the port. Taxis wait outside Arrivals; fixed prices are in place and the fare to the city centre should be about 20-30 TRY. At night, there is a 50 percent surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Istanbul's extensive public transport system includes buses, metros (underground trains), trains, trams, sea buses, and ferries. Tickets can be purchased from main stops, stations, or kiosks prior to boarding. Istanbul's yellow taxis are reasonably priced, but travellers should ensure the meter is used. A cheaper alternative is to use a 'dolmus' (minibus or shared taxi). Driving is not advised for visitors.

Driving directions. From Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
Drive in the direction of Sirkeci.
Head towards Sultanahmet and turn right at the end of Sultanahmet Square.
Follow the tramlines and then turn left at the traffic lights.
The Hotel Olimpiyat is on the right-hand side.
