Location.  The modern Radisson SAS Bosphorus Hotel, Istanbul is located on the banks of the Bosphorus strait in Istanbul, Turkey. It is 500 metres from the shopping area of Ortakoy and 10 kilometres from Taksim Square in downtown Istanbul. The Old City, Grand Bazaar and famous Hagia Sofia - originally a church, later a mosque, and now a museum - are all 15 kilometres from the hotel.

Getting there.  Both airport terminals are connected to the metro system, which runs to the city centre. Single tickets cost about 1 TRY. The Havas Airport bus departs every 30 minutes for the main bus terminal and Taksim Square, in central Istanbul. Journey time is about 30 minutes. Bus number 96 runs between the airport and the city centre, and a shuttle bus runs to the port. Taxis wait outside Arrivals; fixed prices are in place and the fare to the city centre should be about 20 TRY-30 TRY. At night, there is a 50 percent surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around.  The Radisson SAS Bosphorus Hotel, Istanbul is in the Ortakoy district of Istanbul. Istanbul's extensive public transport system includes buses, metros (underground trains), trains, trams, sea buses, and ferries. Tickets can be purchased from main stops, stations, or kiosks prior to boarding. Istanbul's yellow taxis are reasonably priced, but travellers should ensure the meter is used. A cheaper alternative is to use a 'dolmus' (minibus or shared taxi). Driving is not advised for visitors, although there is complimentary parking at the hotel.
