The Forest Suites Resort is nestled in an intimate alpine environment steps away from year-round, world class recreational activities in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. Situated on over five forested acres, The Forest Suites Resort is conveniently located about 100 yards from the state-line casinos, the Heavenly Ski Resort gondola and the Heavenly Village.
This resort combines the atmosphere of a secluded mountain lodge with resort amenities, including two centrally-located pools, steaming hot tubs, fitness center, and access to a private beach on Lake Tahoe. Guests can wake up and head to the lodge for a complimentary European-style breakfast with an assortment of fruits, yogurts, bagels, muffins, cereal, waffles, hard boiled eggs and beverages. Guests can often be seen mingling in the lobby, featuring overstuffed couches and lounge chairs and a massive stone fireplace. Al's Fireside lounge, located directly off of the lobby, has nightly happy hours featuring two for one beer and wine specials, and guests should take advantage of a Friday night manager's reception where they can pick up hors devours and complimentary wine.

Forest Suites offers a hotel room and one- and two-bedroom suites, all of which are decorated in rustic yet modern Tahoe style. Boasting between 650- and 850- square-feet, they are some of the largest in the Lake Tahoe area. Corporate travelers appreciate the work table and two chairs in these units, and though they do not have kitchens they do have coffeemakers. The one- and two-bedroom suites feature a spacious living area, separate dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. High- speed Internet access is available in all units for a surcharge.

One Lake Parkway, South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
From Reno/Tahoe International Airport:
Proceed South on Highway 395 to Highway 50 West past casinos.
At second stoplight (Park Avenue) turn left.
Proceed to the stop sign.
The resort's driveway will be on the left.

From San Francisco and Sacramento:
Take Highway 80 East to Highway 50 East to South Lake Tahoe and Stateline.
Just before reaching the Stateline Casinos and the Heavenly Ski Resort gondola, turn right on Park Avenue.
Turn left on Lake Parkway.
The lobby is the second entrance on the left.
