Location. Surrounded by the 1.1-million acre Routt National Forest, Timber Run Steamboat Resort enjoys serene placement in Steamboat Springs, Colo. Just 500 yards from the Silver Bullet Gondola and three miles from downtown, the resort is convenient to shopping, dining and area attractions, with shuttles available to transport guests to and from. Summer or winter, Steamboat is the place to be for outdoor recreation. Opportunities exist for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding and of course skiing and snowboarding. Dozens of galleries and almost 70 bars and restaurants are positioned about town, providing plenty of off-mountain entertainment. Lincoln Avenue, primarily between Fifth and Ninth Streets, is where most of the more interesting galleries and shops are located.
Hotel Features. The resort features a recently renovated amenities area with three outdoor jetted tubs and an outdoor pool flanked by a sundeck with lounge chairs. The clubhouse features a guest lounge, conference space and a business center. During ski season, complimentary morning coffee and doughnuts are offered. Guest laundry facilities are located on site and concierge services are available.

Guestrooms. Each of the one-, two- and three-bedroom condos feature balconies, fireplaces and kitchens with ranges, refrigerators and microwave ovens. Other standard amenities include cable television, VCRs and high-speed Internet access. An in-unit complimentary bottle of wine is offered in winter months.

Expert Tip. The Bridgestone Winter Driving School, one mile from the resort, is the nation's first school for ice driving. Classes range from half-day introductory to two-day performance courses and reservations are recommended.

Proceed through downtown Steamboat to Mount Werner Road.
