**Major construction is scheduled to start in the Lionshead Village April 4, 2005, and will continue until Fall of 2007. It is possible that construction will be happening at or nearby this resort. After more than a decade of planning, this billion dollar investment will make guests stay in Vail better than ever. Construction is scheduled Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. Every effort will be made to accomodate guests, and guests will continue to have access to all Lionshead stores, mountain operations, restaurants, and lodging properties.

Driving Directions - Montaneros Condominiums

641 West Lionshead Circle, Vail, CO - From Denver International Airport: Take Pena Boulevard from airport to Interstate 70 West. Stay on I-70 West for approximately 120 miles to Exit 176 (Vail).  At the bottom of the ramp, go 3/4 of the way through the traffic circle so that you go under the highway.  At the second traffic circle, stay to the right and take the first exit onto South Frontage Road towards Lionshead.  Travel on South Frontage Road for approximately one mile until you drive under the pedestrian bridge that goes over both I-70 and South Frontage Road.  Take the immediate left after the overpass onto West Lionshead Circle.  Keep to the left. After you pass the bus stop on your left, turn left into the Montaneros driveway and entry to the garage. The whole trip will take between 2 and 2-1/2 hours.

From Eagle County Airport: From the airport access road, turn right onto US Highway 6 into the town of Eagle. Proceed into the roundabout and follow the signs to I-70 East. Stay on I-70 East approximately 40 miles to Exit 173 (West Vail). At the bottom of the ramp, go halfway through the traffic circle and stay to the right. Take the second exit onto South Frontage Road towards Lionshead. Travel on South Frontage Road for approximately two miles until you see the pedestrian bridge that goes over both I-70 and South Frontage Road. The Best Western Vailglo Lodge will be on your right. Turn right just BEFORE the pedestrian bridge onto West Lionshead Circle. Keep to the left. After you pass the bus stop on your left, turn left into the Montaneros driveway and entry to the garage. The whole trip will take between 40 and 45 minutes.
