Location. El Caribe Resort & Conference Center is located directly on "The World's Most Famous Beach," in Daytona Beach, Fla. The neighborhood offers go-cart tracks, movie theaters, a shopping plaza, restaurants and ice cream shops. Within 30 minutes of the resort are 20 golf courses. Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Amusement Park are a little over two miles away.
Hotel Features. Not only does El Caribe Resort specialize in family travel, but its meeting and conference facilities are just right for small groups or large groups up to 350 people. The attentive and friendly staff takes care of every detail. Facilities include classroom and theater configurations, 12 meeting rooms, all uniquely different, and the first-floor Dayspring Room, an open two-story, 3,000-square-foot room that is acoustically designed and features 12-foot high arched windows. Event catering and dining arrangements are suitable for everything from a reception after a wedding on the beach to a cookout or a formal banquet. The resort features beautifully landscaped grounds, two outdoor pools and barbecue grills. Dry-cleaning service and laundry facilities are available.

Guestrooms. The oceanfront rooms have a private balcony, two queen beds and a spectacular view of the ocean overlooking the lush grounds and one of the two pools. All rooms are non-smoking.

Expert Tip. From April 15 through October 31, the area beaches are home to sea turtles. These creatures emerge from the surf at night to lay eggs in nests dug into the dry sand and then return to the seas. Two months later, approximately 100 hatchlings from each of these nests emerge and crawl to the ocean.  To protect these gentle creatures and the fragile dune area, beach driving and parking are prohibited west of an established dune conservation zone.
