Location. Pelican Beach Resort in Destin, Fla., is set on the beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. This resort is within walking distance to family attractions, including Big Kahuna's Water and Adventure Park, one block away, and The Track Family Recreation Center, one-half mile from the property. Henderson State Park, which is a popular spot for hiking, fishing, swimming and picnicking, is three miles east of the resort.
Features. Towering 19 stories above the beach, this resort offers impressive views of the Emerald Coast and easy access to the beach. In season, a poolside deli and provisions shop offer snacks and necessities, and frosty beverages are served at the resort's beachfront bar. Pelican Beach Resort features 10 conference and meeting rooms. Catering and audiovisual services are also available. The resort boasts three outdoor pools and a children's pool. There is also a fitness center, tennis courts and two spa tubs. Kid-friendly amenities at Pelican Beach Resort include an arcade/game room and Kid's Club.

Guestrooms. The one- and two-bedroom condos at Pelican Beach Resort offer views of the Gulf of Mexico from private balconies. Each unit features separate living and sleeping areas, two full bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. High-speed Internet access and cable television are provided. Two-bedroom condos have an in-unit washer and dryer, and coin-operated laundry facilities are located on each floor near the stairwell.

The names of everyone registered in a unit will be verified to ensure that the maximum number of guests per unit is not exceeded, and that children or young adults (those under 25 years old) registered in the unit will have adequate supervision. The required ratio is one adult, parent or legal guardian over 25 for every two children. Guests arriving at the property with disproportionate ratios will be denied access.
