Sports fans will enjoy Disney's All-Star Sports Resort in Lake Buena Vista Fla., which is within three miles of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom. Epcot, Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom and SeaWorld are all less than seven miles away. With larger than life athletic equipment throughout the value-priced resort, kids of every age will enjoy the atmosphere of pick-up basketball and football games.
Two pools with surfing and baseball themes, respectively, offer Disney's imagination-fueled fun for the whole family. Geared toward children, this resort has a mall-style food court as well as several playgrounds and an arcade with sports themes, too. Disney offers a package that uses guests' electronic room cards as charge cards for park admission and resort shopping. Guests may want to double-check to make sure cards are magnetized before leaving the hotel, as cards must be operational as keys to function as charge cards.

Guests can stay in several game-themed buildings, one of which has exterior-corridor rooms resembling a football stadium encircling an athletic field. Sports-inspired guestrooms have bedspreads with images of athletes, televisions, and star-shaped lights above each bed. Guestrooms offer Internet access, voice mail and in-room safes. Refrigerators are available upon request for a daily fee. Preferred guestrooms are closer to the main building and its food court and pools, than are standard guestrooms.
