Location. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., is a taste of New York's country retreats of the 1800s, just across the lake from Downtown Disney. Guests are one mile from Epcot, two miles from Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and within five miles of MGM Studios and Magic Kingdom.
Hotel features. Much of the resort's décor is drawn from New York's horse-racing heritage. Guests check in at the Carriage House, which features a whimsical carousel-horse centerpiece in the lobby. The carousel is a re-creation of the Congress Park carousel in Saratoga Springs, New York. The property's distinct, colorful Victorian architecture is peppered throughout the grounds.

The resort provides complimentary transportation to all Disney parks, but also offers guests a variety of on-site activities. High Rock Spring, a zero-entry, grotto-style pool with waterfalls and two spa tubs is a popular oasis, as is the full-service spa that offers massage, facials, and other body treatments. Tennis, basketball, bike riding, shuffleboard, ping-pong, foosball, video and board games, bicycle rentals and daily scheduled arts and crafts and Disney movies are all available at Saratoga Springs.

The property features a jogging path and is adjacent to Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, one of Disney's five tour-caliber golf courses. The Artist's Palette, a casual, self-serve restaurant with an open kitchen offers casual meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Turf Club Bar and Grill serves American cuisine and offers panoramic views of the waterways and golf course.

Guestrooms. The 280 guestrooms feature studios and one- and two-bedroom villas decorated in rich shades of green and gold, with Victorian-style accents. Guestrooms offer patios or balconies and have kitchenettes or full kitchens. Each guestroom includes Internet access, refrigerators, microwave ovens and cable televisions. Select rooms include jetted tubs and laundry facilities.

Expert Tip. Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa operates with both parents and children in mind. Check-in is made a bit easier with a children's seating area that features Disney movies throughout the day. Additionally, the spa offers services for little ones, ages four to twelve, such as My First Manicure, My First Facial and My First Spa Experience.

Guests of the resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express Service. Motor coaches take guests from Orlando International Airport to the resort hotel. Approximate distance to the hotel is 18 miles.

Depart the airport and bear right (south) onto S Access Road.
Continue south on Boggy Creek Road.
Take SR-417/Central Florida Greenway (toll road ).
Take Exit 6 (toward SR-535/SR-536/I-4 East).
Keep left at the fork on the ramp, merge onto International Drive.
Stay on International Dr to FL-536 West, turn right onto FL-536.
Follow signs to Walt Disney World Resort.
FL-536 West becomes Epcot Center Drive.
Take the ramp toward the Downtown Disney Area.
