Disney's Yacht Club Resort

The Disney Yacht Club Resort in Lake Buena Vista (Fla.) is one mile from Epcot and Disney's Boardwalk. Guests of this resort are 21 miles from the Orlando International Airport and less than seven miles from the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom; with complimentary ferry rides and transportation to all Disney parks provided daily. Ship-like details such as beamed-wood ceilings and wood floors welcome guests to the two-story lobby. Views of the resort's dock on the 25-acre Crescent Lake is just beyond the lobby's French doors.
The resort's focal point is Stormalong Bay, a three acre water park featuring connecting bridges, water slides, spa tubs, two quiet pools, a children's pool and a white-sand beach. The resort also offers an arcade/game room and tennis and volleyball courts. The resort's Ship Shape Health Club has exercise machines and free weights, a steam room, a sauna and massages and facials. Supervised children's activities are held daily at the Sandcastle Club. The marina offers pontoon and canopy boat rentals. A jogging trail encircles the lake, where catch and release fishing is a favorite activity of guests.

The Yacht Club Galley offers a breakfast buffet and casual, lunches. The Yachtsman's Steakhouse, open only for dinner, serves aged cuts of grain-fed beef, chops, poultry and seafood, all seared to perfection on an oak-fired grill. The Crews Cup Lounge offers drinks, and treats are served poolside treats at Hurricane Hannah's.

All 621 guestrooms have ship's wheel headboards and other nautical accents, furnished balconies or patios, minibars, high-speed Internet access and cable television. Coffeemakers, microwave ovens and refrigerators are available upon request.

Disney's Magical Express:
Guests of the resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express Service. Motor coaches take guests from Orlando International Airport to the resort hotel. Orlando International Airport:
Depart the airport and bear right (south) onto S Access Road.
Continue south on Boggy Creek Road.
Take SR 417/Central Florida Greenway, there will be a toll.  
Take Exit 6 toward SR-535/ SR536/ I-4 East.
Keep left at the fork on the ramp.
Merge onto International Drive, stay on International Drive.
Stay on International Drive to FL-536 W. take FL-536 (turn right).
follow signs to Walt Disney World® Resort.
FL-536 W becomes Epcot Center Drive.
