Big Sky features entertainment and activities for all seasons. Hook a trout in any of Southwestern Montana's superb fishing streams, or try a bit harder catch in the Gallatin River. Take a scenic gondola ride up the mountain in Gallatin National Forest, or wander through Yellowstone National Park and observe the eruption of Old Faithful. Play a few rounds at the Big Sky Golf Course, designed by Arnold Palmer, or visit the scenic Canyon area and do some shopping. Fill all of your entertainment needs at the Big Sky Amphitheater where summer concerts such as Shakespeare in the Park and the Bozeman Symphony are held. Big Sky is filled with things to do and see in the winter as well as the summer. Cross country ski or snowshoe on well groomed trails. From Gallatin Field Airport: Exit Gallatin Field by making a right turn onto Highway 10 (the frontage road). Drive 1.4 miles West through the small town of Belgrade. Turn left onto Highway 291. This road passes over Interstate 90 and becomes Highway 85 and then Highway 191. Proceed South seven miles through the four-way stop on Highway 191. Continue South on Highway 191 for 32 miles. Turn right at the Big Sky Resort sign (at the yellow blinking light) and proceed nine miles to the Mountain Village, passing through Meadow Village. Turn left at the "Welcome to Big Sky Mountain Village" sign, then right at the next small intersection. Followe the road up to The Summit. **All Powder Ridge guests must chek in at The Summit before proceeding to Powder Ridge.**
