Location. The Sarah Kendall House, overlooking the Narragansett Bay in Newport, R.I., is one-quarter mile from the galleries, restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues on Thames Street. Features. This 1878 Victorian home features a front porch with wicker chairs and settees, and a harbor-view sitting room occupying a 50-foot tower.
